Mondays
Talkin' to myself and feelin' old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothing ever seems to fit
Hangin' aroundNothing to do but frown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.
What I've got they used to call the blues
Nothin' is really wrong
Feelin' like I don't belong
Walkin' aroundSome kind of lonely clown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.
Funny but it seems I always wind up here with you
Nice to know somebody loves me
Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
Run and find the one who loves me.
What I feel has come and gone before
No need to talk it out
We know what it's all about
Hangin' aroundNothing to do but frown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.

This is for all those people having mondays!!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have to admit, I don't mind mondays. Not exactly my favorite day of the week, but I don't mind them. I get to see all you lovely people at Maranatha, which is definitely a highlight of my week! Sunday is probably my favorite day, then Wednesday, then it's a toss-up between Mondays and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are definitely my least favorite days. And Saturdays fit in somewhere in the middle.
Not that you care THAT much, but I just thought I'd continue with the "day of the week" theme. :)

I wouldn't necessarily say that I have a personal vendetta against mondays, it's just that everyone has a "monday" wether it's actully on a monday, tuesday wednesday...you get my drift I am sure... yesterday just happened to be my "monday."
I personally enjoy friday's myself ;)
